A race for advanced runners
2682 meters up, 402 meters down over the original marathon distance, tough and beautiful – this is the Graubünden Marathon! Highlights include a course starting in Chur, Graubünden’s capital, and ending at the top of Rothorn at an elevation of 2861 m, and leading over varied terrain between start and finish line for an unforgettable experience. A bit of sightseeing while running through the old town of Chur, followed by footpaths through forests and across meadows to Lenzerheide and around the deep blue Heidsee. The last 11.5 km are enormously challenging, but the views of a thousand peaks at the finish line are more than enough reward.
